Book condition very good, corners and edges are slightly rubbed, top outer edge slightly darkened, contents are very clean throughout. Dust jacket condition very good, slight crease to spine ends, slight curl/wrinkle to top edge, 1.5cm rubbed line and a minor indentation line to front panel, very slightly age toned, not price clipped. This is an interesting variation of the book as the binding is the Alfred A. Knopf binding for the US edition, but with the UK first edition of the book bound inside, with Eyre Methuen on the title page and the correct UK copyright statement. The dust jacket is the correct UK dust jacket, priced at £3.75.
