About the Author
Heidi Nast is Assistant Professor in the International Studies Program, DePaul University. She is co-editor of Thresholds in Feminist Geography (1997). Steve Pile is Lecturer at the Open University. He is author of The Body and the City (1996) and co-editor of Geographies of Resistance (1997), both published by Routledge.
