Sarah Radcliffe is a leading authority on the role of culture in development. Her research interests include social and political change in the Andean countries, especially Peru and Ecuador. She also is interested in feminist geography and post-colonial analyses of gender and race. She is Senior Co-ordinating Editor of the Bulletin of Latin American Research (April 2000-present). She has published widely in key journals including: Journal of Women in Culture and Society 2, Progress in Human Geography, Space and Polity, Global Networks, Transactions of the Institute of British Geog and Environment and Planning.
