Is there any evidence that we can reduce the incidence of mental ill health? Is it possible to prevent recurrence of mental ill health?

Jennifer Newton coordinates post-graduate programmes in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at London Metropolitan University, and also teaches and undertakes research in mental health, social work and management. Previous research posts led to books including Preventing Mental Illness.
