Designed for accessibility and ease of use, the author makes full use of paragraph numbers, clear headings and short paragraphs; what to say is also highlighted within the text. This second edition contains changes in the rules relating to family proceedings, High Court and County Court proceedings (eg. disclosure of reports), appeals to the Court of Appeal and the sentencing procedures in criminal courts. It takes into account the far-reaching changes brought in by the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990. The material on tribunals, Coroner's Courts and planning inquiries has also been revised since the last edition. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition.
