Reviews

Talk radio psychologist Dr. Kate Stonewall has a thing against jocks. After all, her former husband was so into sports that he choked to death on a peanut during a Super Bowl game. So when fellow radio host, Jeff Hardin, star of the marathon Jock Talk show, moves next door to her and begins encouraging her two children to participate in sports, the single mother declares war. A princess with less than a perfect body, a frog who's really a prince, and a prince who's really a frog are only a few of the quirky yet vulnerable characters in this well-crafted comedy. The deftly turned phrases and witty dialogue are a delight to read. Fans of Susan Elizabeth Phillips and Sue Civil-Brown will enjoy this humorous, poignant tale. Shelley Mosley
