Hardcover. First Edition. Thick Octavo, vi, x, xi, xvi, 967 pages. In Good condition with a Good dust jacket. Spine sunned brownish red with off-white and blue lettering. Exterior shows slight wear including sunning and few small chips to the head/tail edges. Stain to the flaps to the head edge. Slight damp staining inside dust jacket. Boards have extremely light edge wear and slight tilt to the spine. Bumped corners with white paper adhered to rear. Text block shows head edge colored red and slight age toning to the fore/tail edges. Few, small soiling marks to the edges. Tape mends to the front hinge. Few first pages show tape offsetting. Loosed front end papers, but present. Small stain to page four hundred and thirty. Frontispiece. Illustrated. Volume four only. First edition. Signed by the author.
