Synopsis
The dust was usually ankle deep in the streets of Tucson when the wind wasn't blowing it around. The merchants tried putting planks down at the corners for the ladies to cross on, but every wagon that came along knocked them apart and stirred the dirt over them until they were nearly invisible. But out of Jake's strenuous past step the publisher of the Arredondo newspaper and his sister, Carrie. And even Jake has second thoughts about entrusting two small children to the ladies of the Golden Moon.
