Synopsis
Soldier, Ask Not is a Hugo Award-winning science fiction novella written by Gordon R. Dickson and published in 1964 in the magazine Galaxy Science Fiction. It is also a novel of the same name published in 1967. Rather than being expanded from the shorter work, the novel is a longer work into which the shorter work (about one third) is placed.
