Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 2nd Edition. This massive second edition of 603 pages is inscribed and dated on the fep and again on the title page,SIGNED TWICE. Profusely illustrated with a full color section, the book is tight, bright, and clean. The only marking found is the previous owner's book plate on the inside front cover and a tiny black dot on the top edge. There is shelf wear on the bottom edges probably caused by its size and weight. The dust jacket has edge wear and a bit of wear along the bottom edge. As an extra bonus, there are full color cards of shells from Dover Scientific Co. and 4 photographs of shells and where they were found.l The book is very good minus.
