Synopsis
This is the second edition of "From Data to Database" and represents a major revision of the text. Like the first edition, it aims to provide an excellent introduction to databases, with specific emphasis on data analysis and data modelling. Changes have been made and new material added throughout the text. Issues of semantics and constraints are addressed and a new chapter considers implementation and exploitation issues, including the SQL89 standard language for relational databases.
