"This book should be the staple diet of all anaesthetic trainees... The handbook cuts the mustard because of the way it is laid out. It is in sections, relating to the basis and fundamentals of anaesthesia, and its practice. Each chapter is concise... Controversial areas are highlighted appropriately. This makes the book a must have for exam oriented learning, and revision is a pleasure. The name "handbook" does not do it justice."
