Materials data for cyclic loading have become increasingly important as a tool for materials characterization and engineering design. They have been published in the scientific literature for many years but evaluated in different ways and scattered over many papers and scientific reports. For several years fatigue data of metals obtained with smooth (unnotched) specimens have been collected by the Fachgebiet Werkstoffmechanik, Technische Hochshule Darmstadt, Germany. These data originate from many different sources, mainly from the literature, and the materials laws for cyclic loading are evaluated in a uniform way. The first part of this data collection compiled by C. Boller and T. Seeger was published in 1987. The aim of this present supplementary volume is to extend this collection of knowledge about cyclic material properties of metals. Applying the same evaluation procedures as used by Boller and Seeger to the new collected data, the materials laws of both data collections are directly comparable. To include runouts the evaluation procedures have been slightly extended enhancing the lucidness of the fatigue data presented.
