Reviews

YA-- Browsers beware. This book is addictive! Alphabetically arranged by 40 broad subjects, it identifies the American way of life in this century. It is then subdivided to specialized topics. Entertaining reading, it has a detailed subject index that will enable serious researchers to find a specific quotation. The author and source index simply list where all of the quotations by a specific person can be found. Fun and unusual categories include movie lines and campaign and advertising slogans. The large size of the print and the great amount of white space per page make this easier to read than traditional books of quotations. A fun selection that will be well used and much appreciated.
