About the Author

Linda Lee Small is the coauthor of Be a Great Divorced Dad and A New Mother's Home Companion, and is a contributing editor/writer for The Women's Complete Healthbook. A former contributing editor to Ms. magazine, her articles have been published in most of the national women's magazines, including Parents, Women's Day, Redbook, Working Mother, McCalls, Self, Cosmopolitan, Child, Working Woman, Seventeen, Ladies' Home Journal, and Glamour. She was appointed to the New York City Commission on the Status of Women. She lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and her teenage son.
