Synopsis
In 1955, Jill Kinmont, in the last qualifying race before the Olympics tryouts, skied down a mountain - to disaster. She crashed to earth at forty miles an hour. She never stood up again. Her fall left her permanently paralyzed from the shoulders down. Now Jill had another kind of mountain to climb, back up from total helplessness to a useful, meaningful way of ife.
