Review
A gummable board book with teeth, Tykeosaurs is a little treasure that delivers big, sloppy smiles. Adorable (but not saccharine sweet) Anne Geddes-esque photographs of babies in fanciful dinosaur costumes are set to a short, large-type poem. Tykeosaurs is the perfect blend of bright, kid-friendly visuals and text that is fun to read aloud. The babies are bubbly and natural-looking (down to some dino drool on one "saurus"), and are of several different ethnicities. Moms, you'll find your little ones thoroughly engaged and wanting to touch each face. Add Tykeosaurs to the four-thumbs-up list (two from mom, two from baby!). (Baby to preschool) --Laura McCorkle
