About the Author
Fred Bean is the author of over thirty-five novels, included the critically acclaimed Lorena, Pancho and Black Jack, Eden and Hell’s Half Acre. A member of the Western Writers of America, he has led numerous workshops and panels on the craft of writing. He has also spent time as a horse trainer, a livestock auctioneer, and as the editor of a national livestock magazine. He lives in Belton, Texas.
