ROBERT GEROCH is Professor of Physics at the University of Chicago.
DAVID C. CASSIDY is a professor at Hofstra University. He served as associate editor of The Collected Papers of Albert Einstein. His most recent book is J. Robert Oppenheimer and the American Century.
