Synopsis
The Hare; Or, Hunting Incompatible With Humanityis a didactic animal fable written as a stimulus to youth towards a proper treatment of animals. The work follows a hare narrator as it grows from a timid, hedge-dwelling youngster into a creature that must confront the dangers and moral challenges posed by humankind.
