Vindication Of Orkney, In Answer To 'Notes On Orkney,’ By Walter Traill. Vindication Of Orkney is a 1823 polemical defense of Orkney against Alex. Peterkin’s Notes on Orkney. Traill argues that Peterkin’s work contains errors and misrepresents Orkney’s rural policy, agriculture, and public life.
