Codex Diplomaticus Domus Senioris Comitum Zichy De Zich Et Vásonkeo — Imre Nagy; Iván Nagy; Dezs? Veghely. This volume presents a scholarly collection of medieval Hungarian charters, inquisitions, and court records concerning feudal land disputes in the fourteenth century. The material centers on possession rights, partition and exchange of estates, boundary demarcations, and hereditary or purchased claims, with particular attention to witnesses, depositions, procuratories, and the role of religious houses and capitula as parties or arbiters. Royal and palatine authorities, iudices curiae, and assemblies of nobility supervise trials, appoint panels of arbitrators, and issue ratifications, prorogations to octaves, and formal confirmations. The geographic focus includes northern and western counties such as Wysegrad (Visegrád), Lelez, Jazow (Jelez), Warady, and Baranya, in the Kingdom of Hungary during the 1360s–1370s. Through meticulous procedural detail and recurring legal formulas, the volume illuminates how feudal property rights were negotiated, arbitrated, and officially registered within a crown–church framework. It also reflects the networks of noble families and the administrative machinery that sustained land tenure in medieval Hungary.
