Chemometrics encompasses a variety of statistical tools used to effectively design, analyze and interpret experimental data. The field has evolved rapidly over the last several years due to the widespread availability of powerful, inexpensive computers and available software packages. The topic is an area of great current interest to chemists, allowing them to improve the results from their analytical techniques without resulting to major equipment upgrades. However, there are relatively few introductory level books available. This book provides lab technicians and newcomers to the techniques with a practical guide to using chemometrics.
