About the Author:

MIROSLAV SEDLACEK, PhD, received his degree in technical physics at the University of Zagreb. Now retired, Dr. Sedlacek has spent his life teaching, designing, and researching. Some of his accomplishments include the design and construction of an NMR instrument in Zagreb, conventional and racetrack microtrons, the electron cooling device for the CELSIUS storage ring in Uppsala, and the numerical computation and construction of CW and pulsed klystrons.
