Edited by world-renowned practicing oncologists, the UICC Manual of Clinical Oncology provides essential information on cancer detection, identification, diagnosis, and treatment.
The UICC Manual of Clinical Oncology covers such broad subjects as the basic science of cancer, specific cancers as defined by anatomical location, and quality of life issues. The first section of the text includes chapters on the cellular and molecular biology of cancer; cancer genetics, focusing on genomics, proteomics, and microarray analysis; and expanded coverage on cancer staging and prognostic factors. The second section provides a summary of each treatment modality and contains detailed chapters focusing on cancers by anatomical site.
