About the Author

GEORGE P. RÉDEI is Professor Emeritus at the University of Missouri. He has served as professor at the Max-Planck-Institut in Germany, was awarded the Fulbright Lectureship, and is a foreign member of the Hungarian National Academy of Sciences. Rédei’s extensive teaching experience includes courses in introductory genetics, history of genetics, genetic engineering, analytical genetics, and genetic control of physiological responses. He is world renowned for his research, which includes seminal work on the genetic system of Arabidopsis.
