About the Author
Thomas C. Wang, MLA, ASLA, is principal of Wang Associates International, an international consulting firm specializing in landscape architecture, and planning and urban design. He has also taught at the University of Michigan and Harvard Graduate School of Design.

When the first edition of this book came out 15 years ago, it became a standard source in the field. In this second, completely revised edition, Wang (landscape architecture and regional planning, Univ. of Michigan) has incorporated the vast changes in style and technical advances since the original publication. He expands chapters on process, technique, and graphic reproduction and adds new case studies of landscape and land planning projects. This is an important volume in a quickly changing field.
