He served as Head of Technology for Ericsson?s Mobile Applications Initiative (formerly GPRS Applications Alliance), helping application developers?including such industry giants as Microsoft, IBM, and Oracle?to optimize their products for wireless environments. Andersson is a frequent speaker for Ericsson at major events, has designed software and radio network algorithms for 3G wireless systems, and holds multiple patents in this area.
