Synopsis
Students now need to gain a realistic, hands-on management education with emphasis on the development of leadership and interpersonal skills. The first chapter of the text details how different management models have evolved historically and presents the "Competing Values Model", a theoretical framework of the eight contrasting roles. The final chapter integrates the roles and allows the reader to plan for long term career development.
