Divided into three parts, the text begins with an overview of models of psychiatric classification and practical use of DSM-III-R. The second part offers a detailed clinical picture of specific syndromes, covering crucial diagnostic criteria, major theories of etiology and emphasis on assessment and measurement of behavior comprising the syndrome.
