These two volumes present the state of the art in teleprocessing. Volume 1 acts as a guide for the development of teleprocessing models. Topics covered include data circuits, model protocols, error correction and virtual links. Volume 2 is devoted to modeling the problems posed by network routing, covering the X.25 protocol, protocols of networks without connections and OSI transmission protocol with and without connections.
