EDWIN HEATHCOTE is an architect and writer working in London. He is the author of Imre Makovecz: Wings of the Soul, recently published by Academy Editions and 20th-Century Architecture in Budapest, published by Ellipsis. He is on the editorial staff of Church Building magazine.
IONA SPENS is an architectural historian and writer. She is the editor of Architecture of Incarceration, published by Academy Editions in 1994 and was formerly on the editorial staff of Architectural Design magazine. She lives and works in London.
