Some slight edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, some slight yellowing to extremities and spine of largely white jacket, some yellowing to page block. Not price clipped (no published price), no inscriptions, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg+ copy for its age. 188pp. 'The Stud' is the second novel by British novelist and sister of actress Joan Collins, Jackie Collins(1937-2015). When originally published in 1969, the names of the central characters were different from those in later editions following the release of the film (1978, directed by Quentin Masters and starring Joan Collins and Oliver Tobias). The stud of the title, Tony Burg was renamed Tony Blake for example. The character who became Fontaaine Khaled was originally named Fontaine Damon. The original novel was also edited in later editions to make it appear more contemporary. Quite scarce, even in this later impression. Seller Inventory # 008660
