Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. First edition, first impression. The scarce hardback volume accompanying the landmark V&A exhibition of 1974. Fine: tight and square binding in sharp brown cloth; bright gilt lettering and publisher's motif; some offsetting/browning to the endpapers (as is invariably the case with this edition); just the merest trace of spotting to the top edge of the page block (only), else very bright, crisp and clean. The unclipped dustwrapper is Near Fine: crisp and vibrant; two short tears (7mm & 4mm), sealed to the verso with professional mending tissue; a little rubbing to the spine tips and corners, otherwise excellent; presented in a removable, archival-quality Brodart protective cover.
