About the Author:

Edward Lucie-Smith was born in Jamaica and educated at Merton College, Oxford. Well known as a poet, novelist, and biographer as well as a writer and broadcaster on art, he is the author of numerous books including these World of Art titles: Latin American Art of the Twentieth Century, Movements in Art Since 1945, Sexuality in Western Art, and The Thames & Hudson Dictionary of Art Terms.
