About the Author
Larry Dane Brimner studied literature and writing at San Diego State University and taught school for 20 years. He is the author of more than 200 books for children, including the Sibert Award-winning Twelve Days in May: Freedom Ride 1961 and the Racing Ace early reader series. Larry lives in San Diego, California.
