About the Author:

He and Tennyson founded the Metaphysical Society, an organization dedicated to discovering common ground between religion and science.The scion of a noted family of Staffordshire potters, Louis Rhead (1857–1926) began his career as a ceramic artist. He was a prominent figure in the poster art craze of the 1890s and remains best known for his illustrations for children's books.
