This book is the second of two volumes comprising a collection of manuscripts by or relating to T. R. Malthus, discovered in the estate of a distant nephew, and previously unpublished. The texts consist of correspondence, sermons, essays and lecture notes on political economy and history.

About the Author

John Pullen is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of New England, Australia. He has published widely on Malthus and is the editor of the variorum edition of T. R. Malthus, Principles of Political Economy (Cambridge, 1989). Trevor Hughes Parry is a freelance editor and materials consultant, living in Australia. He formerly lectured at Kanto Gakuen University.
