About the Author
R.B. Serjeant is Sir Thomas Adams's Professor of Arabic at Cambridge University and Director of the Middle East Centre. Robin Bidwell is Secretary of the Middle East Centre in Cambridge and is working on a book on 'The Two Yemens'.
