Robert Greenler is an Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he has been a member of the faculty since 1962. He is well known in the international scientific community, having served in various capacities with the Optical Society of America, the American Institute of Physics, and the Council of Scientific Society Presidents. He has published eighty research papers, given five hundred invited and contributed talks, and has received numerous awards in the scientific community.
