Synopsis
This volume contains the proceedings of the first international workshop on Logical Frameworks. The contributions are concerned with the application of logical reasoning and proof theory in computer science and their relevance to automatic-theorem proving and consequently topics such as artificial intelligence. Book Description
In Logical Frameworks, first published in 1991, Huet and Plotkin gathered contributions from the first International Workshop on Logical Frameworks. The contributions are of the highest calibre. Four main themes are covered: the general problem of representing formal systems in logical frameworks, basic algorithms of general use in proof assistants, logical issues, and large-scale experiments with proof assistants.

Gerard Huet is a Director of Research at the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA), Rocquencourt.
