Synopsis

This book covers the statistical mechanics of classical spin systems with quenched disorder. Starting from the fundamentals, it systematically describes the theory of phase transitions in disordered systems and is the only book to contain a unified theoretical approach for spin glasses, critical phenomena and other types of disordered systems. The book is aimed at graduate students and researchers in the field of statistical mechanics of disordered systems. It will also be useful as a supplementary text for graduate level courses in statistical mechanics.
