Book Description
The R system is a powerful statistics system for researchers needing tools for data manipulation and presentation. Concentrating on examples drawn from the authors' teaching and consulting experience, this book is both a tutorial to the R system and an introduction to the underlying statistical methods. About the Author
John Maindonald is Visiting Fellow at the Mathematical Sciences Institute, Australian National University. He has collaborated extensively with scientists in a wide range of application areas, from medicine and public health, to population genetics, machine learning, economic history, and forensic linguistics.
