Volume 1 provides comprehensive coverage of the legislation in all Member States of the European Economic Area which implemented the SE instruments before 1 July 2005. Volume 2 reports on the remaining countries which have now legislated to give comprehensive coverage. Together they analyse the Regulation and the Directive, examine the tax aspects of the SE and provide a critical review of the usefulness of and the opportunities presented by this legal entity for all Member States.

About the Author:

Dirk Van Gerven is a Partner at NautaDutilh, Brussels, and is a member of the Brussels Bar and the New York Bar. He has extensive experience in all areas of corporate law, including litigation, international arbitration, securities regulation, and finance. He is head of continuing legal education for the Dutchspeaking Bar of Brussels and has published widely in the fields of corporate and financial law. Since 2003 he has been a member of the Supervisory Board for the Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission of Belgium.
