Synopsis
Men called him a gunslinger and worse; saloon talk said there was a price on his head; but Alamo gave them no cause for alarm. It was part of his personal code to be accountable to no one but himself, which was good... until he started asking for trouble. All he'd done was ride into Allegre for vittles and see a bunch of drunken varmints raising a ruckus at the saloon. They were pestering a pretty little gal, and that went against his grain.
