Guinea pig grandmother, father, mother, and child enact a variety of familiar toddler scenes. Simple sentences and questions connect the mini-melodramas portrayed in the pen and watercolor pictures. Facial expressions and body language of the anthropomorphic rodents extend the story considerably.
