PreSchool-K-- Despite the endless storm, toddler Anna enlists her father ' s help to feed the birds, and is rewarded by their imaginary thank you. Simple dialogue relays the tale; it is illustrated with watercolor washes over colored pencil in predominant shades of purple and gray, and punctuated by the more vivid colors of Anna and her father's rain gear. Despite their pleasing composition, the spreads are occasionally murky.
