Grade 5-12 An introduction to a variety of uses for a word processor. The beginning chapters discuss the features of a word processor, then Dubrovin offers suggestions for activities, such as developing an idea file, writing letters as part of a geneology project, and creating poems and greeting cards. In addition, suggestions are given for producing brochures, flyers, programs, and newsletters. The book is rounded out with examples of play writing, fiction works, and desktop publishing. While this volume has a number of practical suggestions, the book does not have one activity or example per project suggestion, making it more appropriate for students to use in a classroom setting or with some other guidance.
