Gr 2-4 Neither of these titles has anything new to offer. The formatfour lines of widely spaced text above full-page color drawingsis attractive; however, the ``Look and Find'' review sections are distracting and both indexes cite the wrong page numbers for several entries. Alligators and Crocodiles is the better organized of the two. Frogs and Toads is more loosely organizedbits and pieces of data are offered on the physical characteristics of the animals, differences and similarities; life cycles; and the behavioral characteristics of different species. The ``Look and Find'' section suggests an activity not mentioned in the text (keeping tadpoles in a jar) for which it gives insufficient information.
