Grade 5-7-- An attractive import that presents a broad overview of this critical, worldwide environmental issue. However, students using it will need to have a good knowledge of world geography (the few maps are confusing); to be familiar with scientific terms such as CFC gases and inert gases; to understand phrases such as illegal radio and industrial effluent; and be able to identify a misspelled location (Guyahoga River) to assimilate the information. Not a first purchase.
